Black Tie Affair...

My cousin got married last night and I was lucky enough to get to do her wedding cake.  She didn't want anything big and fancy, just something that went along with the theme.  Black, silver, red & white... winter... Christmas...  It was a beautiful ceremony!

Here is what I created for her special day...

Chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream, white fondant and black scrollwork design.  It was a big hit.

New Cakes... been busy!

Hello again guys!  Been a few weeks since I've been on here... I've been super busy with cakes and work and the holiday!  Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and hope everyone is gearing up for Christmas!  I know I am... we've even had snow flurries here for the past 2 days.  If that doesn't put you in the mood for the Holidays, then I don't know what will.

Here are a couple of the cakes I have made recently. 

This one was a 2 layer 9" round white cake with peppermint buttercream.  It was delish!!  MMM, yummy!

And R2D2 for you Star Wars fans, was a chocolate cherry cake with vanilla buttercream icing and all details are buttercream as well.  MMMM, Yummy!
